Four Years have passed since I promised a sequel to my first book. That book proved to be an outstanding success. Little did I  know it would reach America, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, India as well as England and Wales?

I have been associated and committed to raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis /Asthma Clinic at Singleton Hospital over the last year. The proceeds from this publication will be shared with this worthy cause along with projects in our community

I wish to thank everybody for their willingness to either donate photographs or allow me to copy them and those that assisted me in identifying people and dates from the photograph. To Malcolm Hill for allowing his research in to the village war memorials to be included in this publication. His work brought home to me the sadness the war years bestowed on this small village and that we should never forget those brave men who made the ultimate sacrifice. To my friend Muriel Hughes for proof reading this publication. Lastly, and by no means least, to my son Richard: a big thank you for all his support and help along the way on this project.

I sincerely hope you enjoy this second publication.
